Experiments in good old-fashioned human connection.

Keeping it Real Mail

It’s really hard to connect in 1 and 0s. Tech was sold to us as being great at connecting us. Until it wasn’t. And now we yearn for real. Real connection, real items, real experiences.

We used to be surrounded with vestiges of our own worlds — things that don’t disappear at the flick of a switch. Printed photos, handwritten notes, scrawled recipes and postcards from afar sent by people we hold dear. We made nests with reminders of our life scattered around reinforcing the sense of who we are, how we love, what we believe.

Now we walk through minefields, new content thrown at us seeing what will stick. Telling us what a good little consumer we should be. Swaying us with marketing shtick, clickbait headlines and generated art to generate profit.

We are a people positive space. We hold this space for people who want to slow down, to feel, to remember and to grow together.

You might get a kick out of this if you’re interested in communication, connection, practice, patience and change.

All images on this site are either taken by us or were once printed on paper by real craftspeople. There is a human story behind each and every one. We use images from the Public Domain and thank organisations like the Public Domain Review for bringing these treasures to light. We do our best to acknowledge the people who bring us these works. If you see we are missing something, please let us know.

Don’t be a dick is the only requirement for using our site. We have an active bias against corporations, algorhythms, fake intelligence and bullshit reckons. There’s plenty of space for them elsewhere.

We will do everything we can to protect your privacy
