Make It Right

Hello Sweetness,

Yeah, I’ve made a lot of dumb decisions in my life. They straddle all the spheres – where to be, how to be and who to be with. Looooot of stupid choices around money and time and energy. I make them still, but I don’t need to be perfect. Improvement is just fine.

But in all the f*** ups and let downs, I do realise that it wasn’t the choice that was the problem. That got me closer to what I wanted. It was usually the not choosing that got me into trouble. I’d just wait and see, which meant I would be in the wrong place or left with the dregs, or just not prioritising my own well-being. I was just going along. Not choosing.

See when I made a choice I knew it. I felt stronger for it and I’d put that energy into making it work.

And that personal agency is an important piece of the magic.

When you make a decision, you make it right.

You take action to ensure it works out well.

Choose and Act – Decision and Action: They go hand in hand. Both can be uncomfortable. But they are the two most effective forces we can have in our lives. They can change everything and can do so very quickly

I haven’t always made the right decisions. But here I am. Getting up each day, working hard to make them right.
